| Requirements | |
| -For appointment to this position, an applicant must be in possession of the qualifications provided in Section 39(2)(b) of the Political Parties Act as read with Chapter Six of the Constitution, namely:- | |
| - 1. Professionals with outstanding governance, administrative, social, political, economic and other record. | |
| - 2. Meets the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya on leadership and integrity. | |
| - 3. The Member shall not be a Member of the Public Service and not be an active participant in the activities of a Political Party. | |
| Duties and Responsibilities | |
| -The Member of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal shall sit in the tribunal to hear and determine cases. The functions and jurisdiction of the tribunal are provided under Section 40 and 41 of the Political Parties Act, namely, determine:- | |
| - 1. disputes between members of a political party; | |
| - 2. disputes between a member of a political party and a political party; | |
| - 3. disputes between political parties; disputes between an independent candidate and a political party; | |
| -4. disputes between coalition partners; appeals from decisions of the Registrar under the Political Parties Act; and | |
| - 5. disputes arising out of party primaries. | |

(c) Certified copies of testimonials, professional certificates and academic transcripts. (d) Applicant’s recent coloured passport size photographs (e) Three (3) samples of any professional writings. (f) Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit valid copies of clearance certificates from the following bodies during the interview:- • Kenya Revenue Authority, • Higher Education Loans Board, • Directorate of Criminal Investigation, • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission and • A recognized Credit Reference Bureau. | |
