Requirements
- 1. Possess a first degree in Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
2. Possess a Masters degree in Information Technology or equivalent..;
3. Have at least 6 years experience leading an ICT function in a busy organization;
4. Possess an appropriate certification from a recognized institution
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate receipt and allocation of IT assets and ensure optimal deployment of resources.
- Maintain an ICT Assets Register.
- Coordinate liaison with maintenance service providers.
- Install, assemble and configure all computers and peripherals such as servers, monitors, printers, scanners and related hardware.
- Troubleshoot problems with computers; make repairs and corrections where required.
- Ensure that all servers and other IT equipment in the Judiciary are properly maintained and kept in working order.
- Ensure that ancillary equipment that impact on ICT like air conditioners, fire suppression, UPS equipment and electricity generators are in serviceable state throughout the Judiciary.
- Implement, test and manage the Judiciary’s disaster recovery programme.
- Maintain an aggressive backup strategy for all production databases.
- Coordinate the management of servers, ensuring that each server has 100% uptime.
- Supervise ICT equipment suppliers to ensure that their service level agreement maintenance is carried out satisfactorily.
- Coordinate the support of server and desktop hardware.
- Diagnose hardware problems, and advising the Director
- Identifying staff development requirements and advising Management.
- Allocate work to staff in the division.
- Appraise staff.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

9. Have the ability to work under minimal supervision;
10. Have clear understanding of the role of Judiciary in realizing the demands of the Constitution, Vision 2030 goals and other policy documents of the Judiciary;
11. Be a person of high integrity and ethical conduct;
12. Have strong leadership skills.
Possession of managerial skills in planning, budgeting and project management will be desirable for all these positions.
