Requirements
- 1. Possess a first degree in Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
2. Possess a Masters degree in Information Technology or equivalent..;
3. Have at least 6 years experience leading an ICT function in a busy organization;
4. Possess an appropriate certification from a recognized institution
Duties and Responsibilities
- The incumbent will be required to:- Coordinate Systems and Network administration (security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server and internet access);
- Administer the Judiciary Information and Communications Network; make required adjustments to the network to ensure optimum network performance;
- Install, upgrade, configure, and repair local and wide area network hardware and infrastructure;
- Ensure the security of data from internal and external attack.
- Perform technology needs analysis;
- Advise on plans, implementation, and support of the network and computing infrastructure;
- Design and manage network infrastructure projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules;
- Administer and maintain the electronic mailing and intranet systems;
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule releases of network software updates.
- Administer and maintain the voice telephone network though out the entire Judiciary, including blackberry support;
- Identify staff development requirements and advising Management.
- Allocate work to staff in the division;
- Appraise staff;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

9. Have the ability to work under minimal supervision;
10. Have clear understanding of the role of Judiciary in realizing the demands of the Constitution, Vision 2030 goals and other policy documents of the Judiciary;
11. Be a person of high integrity and ethical conduct;
12. Have strong leadership skills.
Possession of managerial skills in planning, budgeting and project management will be desirable for all these positions.
