Requirements
- Be a citizen of The Republic of Kenya.
- Hold a degree in Law, Management, Administration or other Social Sciences, from a university recognized in Kenya.
- Have a leastten (10) years proven experience at mangement level.
- Meets the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive the Tribunal's vision and mission through the implementaion of its programmes and plans.
- Mobilize and mnage the resources of the Tribunal to acheive its core mandate.
- Provide requisite leadership to ensure the tribunal attains a high level of competitiveness and ethical standards in its entire programmes.
- Preside over all the proceedings where he or she is present in preson with unlimited geographial and pecuinary jurisdiction on matters of disputes.
- Participate in hearing and determination of all disputes which come before the full bench.
- Enter judgements in default of appearance.
- Determine and pronounce upon any poin of law arising in the course of proceedings before the Tribunal.
- Approve, signissue and certify orders, decrees and certificates of coss, copies of proceedings and warrants of attachments or execution of court decrees and orders.
- Write and pronounce awards, judgements, orders, rulings and decrees issued by the Tribunal.
Important Information
- The poiltical parties Tribunal is established under the Political Parties Act, No. 11 of 2011 and its jurisdiction is to determine; disputes between members of a political party; disputes between a member of a political party and a political party; disputes between political parties; disputes between an independent candidate and a political party; disputes between coalition partners; and appeals from decisions of the Registar under the Political Parties Act 2012.
- Pusuant to section 39 (2)(b) and 43 of the Political Parties Act, 2011 No. 11 of 2011, the Judicial Service commission of Kenya invites applications from qualified persons for the position as advertised.
- The judicial Service Commission is mandated to appoint the Members of the Tribunal necessary for the proper functioning of the Tribunal. The member shall hold office for a non-renewable term of six years and shall serve on a part time basis. The member shall NOT be a member of the Public Service and shall not be an active participant in the activities of a political party.

b) Declaration of income and liabilities as at the time of making the application, using the prescribed forms ( The Declaration of Income, Assets and Liabilities Form JSC 2b available from the Judiciary website.
c) Detailed and updated Curriculum Vitae with telephone, email and other contacts of three (3) referees who must be familiar with the applicant's previous work experience.
d)Certified copies of certficates, testimonials and professional certfificates and academic transcripts
