|-For appointment to this position, an applicant must be in possession of the following minimum qualifications:- |
(i) Possess a Bachelors degree in any social sciences from a recognised university
(ii) Have a postgraduate qualification in human resource management
|-education or other equivalent qualifications from a recognised university|
(iii) Have shown merit and ability in work performance and results;
(iv) Have at least six (6) years relevant work experience;
(v) Be proficient in computer applications; and
(vi) Must meet the requirements set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
|Duties and Responsibilities|
|-The successful candidates will be deployed to head the Education and Training Unit of the Commission and will be reporting to the Registrar, JSC.
Specific duties will include:-
(i) Preparing and implementing programmes for the continued education of Judicial Officers and staff in conjunction with the Judiciary Training Institute;
(ii) Identify training needs and preparing human resource development plans for the Commission;
(iii) Representing the Commission in Committees related to administration of training;
(iv) Supervising and developing staff deployed in the unit; and
(v) Preparing of training budget.
