Requirements
-• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or other related field;
• Five (5) years of experience in a communications or publishing related environment;
• Knowledge of design and publication packages (e.g, Adobe InDesign
-Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Acrobat, scanning and text recognition, multimedia applications);
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Proven writing and editing skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
-• Managing the communication and publication of legal research findings, policy advisories and recommendations;
• Developing and utilizing communications channels for alerting the Judiciary of current developments in the law, jurisprudence or judicial administration;
• Spearheading the design and development of new communication and publication material;
• Coordinating and managing the School’s public affairs function;
• Coordinating the development of the content of the School’s website and any other related platforms;
• Introducing new and emerging communications technology for communication and publication including multimedia production.
Important Information
-Reporting to the Deputy Director, Legal Research and Policy, this position will be responsible for managing the communications and publications functions of the School.
