Requirements
- The successful candidate must have the following minimum qualifications, work experience and attributes:
- Masters degree in Law, Legal Studies, Jurisprudence or relevant Social Sciences;
- Ten (10) years experience in the legal field specifically in legal education design, implementation and evaluation, five (5) of which must be at a senior level;
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum development, continuing adult education practices as well as judicial education, professional training and staff development;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Strategic outlook and strong decision making abilities; and
- Ability to develop and maintain multiple stakeholder partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities
- This position reports to the Director of the Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in the review, research and development of judicial education curriculum and material for judicial training programs in accordance with clearly established policies and procedures.

- The Key Responsibilities for this role will include:

- Providing strategic leadership and direction within the Judicial Education and Curriculum Development unit;
- Developing judicial education curricula, and overseeing its implementation and evaluation
- Coordinating research on judicial education needs assessment, curriculum development and training evaluation
- Conducting user surveys and using the results to measure satisfaction with the judiciary, and plan court-based education
- Working with court users to design, develop and stage judicial education programmes
- Assessing training needs, developing training curricula and assessing the effectiveness of training programmes
- Designing, developing and managing a multi-disciplinary judicial education and professional training activities while integrating emerging developments, technologies and methodologies;
