Requirements
-The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

- • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Education or other related field;
- • Five (5) years’ experience as a lecturer or law practitioner writing curriculum
-instructional materials for adults;
- • Expert knowledge and experience in adult learning principles and curriculum development;
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
- • Ability to be creative and innovative.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Reporting to the Deputy Director, Judicial Education and Curriculum Development, this position will facilitate training by harmonizing the multiple activities involved, ensure smooth running of training programmes and liaise with the relevant stakeholders in accordance with the mandate of the Institute.

- The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- • Identifying internal and external training programs to address competency gaps in the Judicial service;
- • Partnering with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs;
- • Organizing, conceptualising and developing or sourcing training programs to meet specific training needs;
- • Liaising with subject matter experts regarding instructional design;
- • Informing employees about training options;
- • Mapping out training plans for individual employees;
- • Designing and applying assessment tools to measure training effectiveness;
- • Tracking and reporting on training outcomes;
- • Providing feedback to program participants and management;
- • Evaluating and making recommendations on training material and methodology;
- • Maintaining employee training records;
- • Handling logistics for training activities including venues and equipment;
- • Establishing and maintain relationships with external training suppliers;
- • Coordinating off-site training activities for employees;
- • Managing the training budget;
- • Managing and maintaining in-house training facilities and equipment;
- • Keeping current on training design and methodology and
- • Ensuring that externally funded trainings are well coordinated and implemented.
