Requirements
-The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

- • Master’s degree in Law or other related field;
- • Five (5) years’ experience in complex policy analysis, research projects and initiatives in the legal field;
- • Proficiency in advanced computer analysis, report preparation, presentations and internet search programs and tools;
- • Knowledge of and experience using research and analysis tools such as SPSS;
- • Strong written and oral communication skills; and
- • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Reporting to the Deputy Director, Legal Research and Policy, this position is responsible for providing direction in policy review and development to support the judicial process and judicial administration. The key responsibilities for this role will include:

- • Developing policies related to the judicial process and judicial administration;
- • Analyzing new laws, policies, and court rules on their potential or real impact on the Judiciary in general and the courts in particular;
- • Developing long term and short term policy advisory plans and protocols;
- • Identifying policy research areas and emerging issues in jurisprudence and developing and implementing tools and processes to ensure high quality policy advisory which meet international standards of excellence; and
- • Developing, reviewing and editing policy papers and manuscripts to be published.
