Requirements | |
-The successful candidate will: 1. Possess a Masters degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or equivalent; 2. Have at least 7 years experience in Administration, three of which should be in managing transport and security of a busy organization. In addition, applicants for the positions under Human Resource and Administration must; 1. Be a member of relevant professional body; 2. Be a team player; 3. Possess strong organizational and analytical skills; 4. Be self motivated, capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision; 5. Possess excellent management , communication and interpersonal skills; 6. Be computer literate and familiar with standard office computer applications. | |
Duties and Responsibilities | |
-The incumbent will be required to:- 1. Develop, implement and disseminate transport and security policies and procedures in the Judiciary; 2. Prepare, manage and maintain controls on transport budget and overall costs on motor vehicle operations; 3. Coordinate the disposal of used motor vehicles; 4. Advise on policy and strategic development in relation to transport resources; 5. Oversee the overall maintenance of the fleet; 6. Maintain and ensure adherence to operational procedures in order to achieve operational excellence; 7. Coordinate Environment, Health and Safety issues in the department; 8. Monitor and report key performance indicators in order to facilitate a transparent evaluation of the operation; 9. Manage and advise on manpower issues in the department; 10. Develop and implement security policy, strategy, guidelines in consistency with best global practices; 11. Identify all security risk areas and develop better operational methods to mitigate the risks; 12. Carry out security audits and surveys, review security processes, procedures, contingency plans and control in compliance with the set security standards; 13. Manage the incident reporting process to track trends and develop effective responses. | |
