Requirements
-The Judicial Service Commission of Kenya hereby invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated candidates for the position of Court Interpreters (Suba, Kuria, Somali, Nubian, Chonyi, Chinese, French, German and Sign Language) in the Judiciary. The ideal candidates must be persons of high integrity, hardworking, able to work with minimum supervision, possess good interpersonal and communication skills and self-motivating.

-Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate must:-
- i. Be in possession of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C- (minus) with a C-(Minus) in English & Kiswahili or its accepted equivalent;
- ii. Have school leaving certificate;
- iii. Have certification in Foreign Languages,
- iv. Have Braille and or Sign Languages (for sign language interpreters)
- v. Be proficient in Computer applications; and
- vi. Have good personality and high integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities
-i. Interpretation of court proceedings in local languages mainly: Suba, Kuria, Somali, Nubian, Chonyi and International languages mainly: Chinese, French, German and Sign Language;
- ii. Proof reading court proceedings;
- iii. Maintaining court diaries
- iv. Receiving, listing and securing exhibits; and
- v. Ensuring security of files and exhibits.
