Requirements |
- For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: - |
-
i. A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean grade of C-
(Minus) or its equivalent; |
-
ii. A Diploma in Construction Management, Building-Civil Engineering or
any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; |
-
iii. Proficiency in computer applications; and |
-
iv. Met the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution. |

Duties and Responsibilities |
- Key Duties and Responsibilities: |
-
i. Undertaking repairs in the areas of specialization; |
-
ii. Undertaking installations in the areas of specialization; |
-
iii. Routine checks of equipment in the areas of specialization; |
-
iv. Managing maintenance of buildings; |
-
v. Setting standards for maintenance of equipment; |
-
vi. Liaising with users on maintenance of offices and courts; |
-
vii. Preparing of directorate's maintenance work plan; |
-
viii. Coordinating the maintenance of generators, lifts and air conditioners;
and |
-
ix. Coordinating repair works in courts and offices. |

• A recognized Credit Reference Bureau;and |

• Clearance from relevant professional body. |
