Requirements
-Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, an applicant must be in possession of the following minimum qualifications:-
i) Served in the grade of Chief Information Communication Technology Officer or in a comparable and relevant position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
ii) Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent;
iii) MSc degree in Computer Science, Information System or related field will be an added advantage;
iv) Attended a Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
v) Working knowledge of E-board, systems analysis and design, networking, database management and IT security; and
vi) Demonstrated professional competence, ability and managerial
- administrative capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
-(a) Duties and Responsibilities
i) Overall planning, organization, coordination and execution of all ICT functions in the Commission as well as ensuring that the E-board system is fully functional.
ii) Development of systems, implementation, maintenance and allocation; iii) Carrying out feasibility studies;
iv) Preparing progress reports of the systems development;
v) Evaluating systems and ensuring adherence to established ICT standards;
vi) Training and preparing staff performance reports;
vii) Planning, monitoring and evaluating ICT program
- activities;
viii) Liaising with user departments to ensure effective maintenance of ICT equipment; and
ix) Supervising, guiding, mentoring and training and development of staff working ICT Unit.
