|-For appointment to this position an applicant must be in possession of the following minimum qualifications:- |
(i) Possess a Bachelors degree from a recognised University
(ii) Have attended an investigations or intelligence gathering course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
(iii) Shown merit and ability in work performance and results;
(iv) Have at least six (6) years relevant work experience;
(v) Be proficient in computer applications; and
(vi) Must meet the requirements set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
|Duties and Responsibilities|
|-The successful candidates will be deployed to head the Inspectorate Unit of the Commission and will be reporting to the Registrar, JSC. |
Specific duties will include:-
(i) Receiving, compiling and synthesizing all complaints against judicial and other staff of the Judiciary;
(ii) Conducting expeditious and comprehensive investigations into all complaints received against judicial and other staff of the |Judiciary.
(iii) Compiling reports consequent upon investigations into complaints received against judicial and other staff of the Judiciary for use by the Judicial Service Commission.
(iv) Gathering information and preparing intelligence reports about the conduct of judicial and other staff of the Judiciary for use by the Judicial Service Commission.
