Requirements
-The successful candidate must have the following minimum qualifications, work experience and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Five (5) years experience in networking, systems administration and IT support in a fast paced or rapidly growing organization;
- Advanced knowledge and experience in implementing IT related policies and procedures;
- Ability and willingness to continuously stay up to date with relevant technological advancements in the market; and
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Reporting to the Deputy Director Finance and Administration, this position is responsible for developing, implementing and managing all ICT initiatives to support the mandate of the Institute.
- The Key Responsibilities for this role will include: Developing IT policies and procedures and ensuring their continuous review;
- Supporting divisions of the Institute in leveraging IT solutions to meet their goals through the use of appropriate technologies in distance or ex-situ judicial education platforms, case management systems and other functional areas;
- Managing the Institute’s local area network, wi-fi, internet and related forms of connectivity;
- Ensuring network security through installation of appropriate hardware and software;
- Overseeing maintenance, upgrades and repairs of ICT equipment.
